Step into a neon universe at Canary Wharf’s Canada Place, the most Instagrammable spot in London this January. This funky, fun and unusual exhibition is the perfect addition to any day out – whether you’re exploring the sights and scenery of Greenwich or shopping until you drop, don’t forget to make this short and sweet detour for a giggle and a gram.
The concept behind the installation is to create a fun-filled space, where bright colours, witty remarks and immersive experiences welcome anyone who happens to walk by – why cry over spilt milk, when you can jump on a seesaw surrounded by neon? Hues of dazzling pink, giant milk cartons and shimmering blue fridges – this is an exhibition that makes light of everyday, ordinary objects and activities, creating joy out of the simpler pleasures in life.

Who is Eve De Haan?
This London-based artist has generated quite the reputation within the creative community – recognised for experimenting with vocabulary, colour and neon lighting, the future for Eve De Haan is looking as bright as her installations. Drawing inspiration from social and cultural influences, much of De Haan’s work sheds light on the influence of social media and technology on young generations.
Each installation is notoriously bold, powerful, inspiringly positive. De Haan shares an enlightening philosophy with her audience: don’t get caught up and held back by negative influences. Within a society where social media and popular culture frequently puts pressure on keeping up appearances, fitting in with the normative and maintaining a photo worthy lifestyle, we could all do with a little reminder that none of it actually matters! I for one am excited about what the future holds for Eve De Haan and will be ready to book my place at her next installation.
