The Black Pig has been hailed online as ‘the best sandwich in London’, so me and my friend took a trip into Borough Market to see whether or not these loaded ciabattas were worth the hype.
This street-food hotspot is impossible to miss, with streams of ravenous foodies lining up to indulge in a cheesy pulled pork roll. We both decided to taste test the Honey Truffle Parmesan with an additional slather of hot chilli paste. We were not disappointed. The slow roasted pork shoulder was tender, juicy and oozing with flavour & was perfectly complimented by the indulgent honey truffle mayo and crisp ciabatta. Whilst I’m reluctant to crown The Black Pig as the ‘best sandwich in London’, they’ve definitely earned a spot upon the podium.
