Over the recent weeks, London has experienced some very welcome, albeit unseasonable sunny spells. As the sprites of Spring have danced through the boroughs of London, magical cherry blossoms have sprouted from their slumber, decorating the cobbles with a layer of petal pink snow. Candy floss canopy’s sweep across the horizons of London’s green spaces, taking a particular liking to the lakeside trimmings of St. James’s Park.
Wonder through this fairytale paradise or bask in the sun on the grassy plains – but make sure to hurry, as the blossoms are preparing to retreat into annual hibernation. Whilst the cherry blossoms are undoubtedly an added delight, St. James’s Park is an enchanting spot all year round. Parakeets nestle in branches, ornate bridges traverse the lake & swans flock to the riverside. A beautiful spot to grab a good book and a cup of coffee, sit back and relax amidst the London bustle.
