It’s fair to say that most South Londoners will have journeyed to The Ship at one point or another. An energetic, vibrant spot, nestled by the river Thames – This bustling London pub has become a host to lively post work drinks, recent graduates and weekend regulars. Whilst admittedly, this is one of the pricier pubs in London, if you like a busy buzz and a mingle, you will not be disappointed.

The riverside deck is by far the best seat in the house, but be sure to get there early as seats get snapped up swiftly. As the sun sets behind the cityscape and the river ripples sunset orange, there’s not many places I’d rather be sat with a G&T. We quickly fell victim to the clasps of The Ship upon our first venture, and it has since become one of our go to locations for Friday night fun. Don’t be fooled by the deceitful promise ‘we’ll only go for one drink’ as you’ll sure to be stumbling onto the sticky carpets of Infernos when it reaches 1am…
