Unlike many London markets, the Peckham car boot sale has managed to retain modest crowds and prices, making for the perfect Sunday morning for anyone wishing to stock up their wardrobes in peace!
Small business owners and locals head over to the Harris Academy every Sunday to showcase and browse an extensive collection of clothes, books, jewellery and homeware, before setting their sights upon a range of food stalls. I was pleasantly surprised by the sheer volume of items on offer, which took us over an hour to thoroughly explore. As someone who is incredibly conscious about my fashion footprint, car boot sales are the perfect opportunity for me to re-home vintage clothes and to discover beautiful pieces which are no longer available in stores. If you love rummaging the rails of Notting Hill’s eco-market, then be prepared to fall head over heels in love with the Peckham car boot!
