When my friend asked if I would like to book in puppy yoga this weekend, my answer was a resounding YES! Squishy pups, endless cuddles and mindfulness, what’s not to love? Whilst puppy yoga has swarmed my socials for months on end, you’ll be happy to hear that it really is worth all the hype – and don’t worry if you’ve never done yoga before, you can opt to cuddle your pup throughout the session instead.

One of the wonderful things about puppy yoga, is that it’s a two way relationship: as well as getting our weekly dose of serotonin, the pups benefit too, from socialising and becoming more familiar with the outside world. Our pup of the week was baby bullies, a breed that I am admittedly less familiar with, but nonetheless couldn’t wait to get my hands on!

There is clearly a huge amount of thought and care that has gone into this business behind the scenes. Puppy well-being is rightfully a huge priority and the staff are highly attentive to the pups throughout the session. There is also a huge amount of work that goes into the yoga class itself. We were led by a wonderful instructor, who was conscious of varying capabilities. We were guided through a simple beginners yoga programme, which as someone who had never done yoga previously, was perfectly accessible and incredibly relaxing. It’s a great middle ground if you’re looking for something wholesome, active and different to do in London!
