A little taste of Italian style al fresco dining in the heart of Chelsea. Manicomio has long been a popular spot within the Duke of York Square, a picturesque setting offering breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. I personally enjoy stopping by during the Spring and Summer months after a visitation to the Saatchi gallery or a long day of (window) shopping! The outdoor seating is the perfect spot to enjoy a light lunch and people watch; fresh focaccia beneath a canopy of plush greenery…what more could you ask for?

The restaurant can be slightly pricy, but the breakfast and lunch menus are highly affordable. There are options available to suit every dietary recquirement, something which is surprisingly quite the rarity! I’m a big fan of their focaccia, which has a crisp shell and a fluffy centre (8/10), but enjoy much of what they have on offer. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and high quality, and is always packed full of flavour!
